Is This Sachin's Last?

India scripted history when they beat Australia by six wickets in the fourth and final Test match of the BorderGavaskar Trophy series at the Kotla here on Sunday, the third day of the match.

The match also marked what is possibly Sachin Tendulkar's final Test appearance on home soil, as India play their next such game at home only in late 2014, by which time the Maestro will have crossed into his 41st year. Chasing 155 to ensure a clean sweep -their firstever in a series of four or more Tests -the home side were seen home by the run-hungry Cheteshwar Pujara (82 not out) and inspirational captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, for whom the series scoreline was redemption of sorts, having led India to a similar defeat Down Under in 2011-12.
