Call on Hollywood to make Film about Hero Who Let Hitler Live

Big screen legends Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are being urged to make a blockbuster about the Birmingham World War One hero who had Adolf Hitler in his sights - but failed to shoot.

The exciting revelation comes after the Birmingham Mail published the story of Private Henry Tandey’s meeting with Hitler - then a 29-year-old lance corporal - on the battlefield in the final moments of The Great War.
