Women’s Bank to Begin with Seed Capital of Rs 1,000 cr

 The bank will have 25 branches across 8 locations in the country including the four metros
THE iconic Air India building at Nariman Point overlooking the Arabian Sea would house India’s first state-owned women-only Bharatiya Mahila Bank. The ground floor of the sprawling building is already being renovated to house the bank’s Mumbai branch, which is all set to start operations next month.
