A 65-year-old woman died of a heart attack at a civil hospital in Hoshiarpur in Punjab on Thursday after doctors, busy attending a programme organized for the Union minister of state for health Santosh Chaudhary, allegedly refused to entertain her son's request for assistance. Chaudhary, a Lok Sabha MP from Hoshiarpur, was in her hometown to participate in a Central government function Swasthya Jan Soochna Abhiyan, a mere 100 metres away from the hospital.
