It's official. Bangladesh will play India in the Asia Cup final on Sunday (March 6). Watched and cheered wildly by a full house which included Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh held their nerve to knock Pakistan off by five wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here on Wednesday night. The entire Bangladesh team ran to congratulate skipper Mashrafe Mortaza (12 n.o, 2x4) and Mahmu dullah (22 n.o, 2x4, 1x6) who helped the side cross the line. Opener Soumya Sarkar (48, 5x4, 1x6) anchored the chase in a measured manner. The left-hander brought in a good mix of caution and aggression that kept Bangladesh afloat. When he was dismissed, castled by Mohammad Amir (2-26) in the 14th over, Bangladesh were just 47 away from a win.
