EAMCET 3 on Sept 11

The ill-fated EAMCET which was has been cancelled by the government would be held for the third time on September 11as the government has taken a decision in this regard on Tuesday. The decision was followed by the High Court’s direction on the fate of the EAMCET, which met with the controversy with the leakage of examination paper. The government informed the High Court that it would cancel the EAMCET -2 and would conduct the exam afresh.

Upon hearing the case, the court said it was better to cancel the EAMCET-2 for the leakage of examination paper. The advocate-general, on behalf of the State Government, informed the court that it was ready to conduct EAMCET-3 as it had cancelled the EAMCET-2 due to leakage. The Government gave details of the scam to the court which favored cancellation of the EAMCET-2 paving way for the next round of examination.

State government informed the High Court that there was no other way than cancelling the examination as the leakage was done on a major scale. It told the High Court that about 103 candidates were found to be part of the scam and the hunt for the kingpins of the scam was on. The government also changed the EAMCET examination committee replacing Ramana Rao, the convener for the second exam, with N Yadaiah. The committee members were also changed.
